NECBAC Pairs with CBI for Event

Fairfield, CT – On Monday, January 12, 2015, The New England Counselors of Color Bridging Access to College (NECBAC) hosted students and counselors from College Bound Initiative (CBI) for a unique college access event.

Fifty juniors and seniors from CBI partner high schools in New York City and their guidance counselors joined admissions representatives from twenty member institutions including Amherst College, Bates College, Boston University, Bowdoin College, Bryant University, Colby College, Emmanuel College, Endicott College, Fairfield University, Hampshire College, Middlebury College, Mitchell College, University of New Haven, Providence College, Saint Michael’s College, Salem State University, Simmons College, Stonehill College, Wesleyan University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute for a morning of admissions and financial aid workshops as well as a mini college fair.
